general history:
Christine was born and raised in Sweden. She spent most of her life there with her father Gustave. Her mother died after Christine was born and she didn't that much about her. Every night, Christine would ask her father to tell her the story of the Angel of Music. The girls name in the story was Little Lotte. Lotte, would hear the angel of music every night in her head singing to her. Christine and her father then moved to Paris France.
Gustave brought her to the Opera House where he hoped his daughter would become a dancer. At the age of seven, Christine stood by her fathers death bed. Madam Giry was by their side as he laid there dying. Gustave told Christine he would send her the Angle of Music from heaven to watch over her while he was away. Once he died, Madam Giry took a hold of Christine and raised her as her own daughter. Christine met Madam Giry's daughter whose name was Meg.
Meg and Christine began having a great friendship. Both of them had been in the Ballet and the Chorus together. They grew to be the best of friends Christine and Meg would talk about anything. They shared secrets and helped each other out. While they were practicing about eighteen years later since Christine arrived, the diva carlotta was asked to sing an Aria from the two new managers monsieur's Andre and Firmin. Though an accident had happened as she was singing. A backdrop had fallen upon Carlotta which made her fall. After her walk out on the new production the old manager monsieur Lefvre talked to the wings man Joseph Buquet. After their little chat one of the mangers asked Reyer, if there was an understudy for Carlotta. Madam Giry then told the managers to let Christine sing, for she had been working with a tutor and she had come a long way. The managers were confused at this mysterious tutor whom she did not know his name. picked Christine to step forward and sing the Aira.
After her performance from Hannibal, Christine had returned to her dressing room after a successful night. On her way back she began to her the Angel of Music's voice. Meg had startled her as she followed her to her room. Entering the dressing room together, Christine and Meg both talked over who her mysterious teacher was. Christine told her that it was the angel of music in which her father sent her from Heaven.
Once Meg left Raoul had entered her dressing room. Teasing her about the time he went into the sea when he was fourteen to fetch her scarf. Christine and Raoul began to talk about their memories of their childhood. Raoul then departed to fetch his hat for dinner, Christine tried to tell him that she couldn't go out considering that the angel of music was very strict on her leaving.
Alone in the dressing room she heard his voice. They talked for a while and he appeared in the mirror towards her. Christine was shocked, frightened and a little bit relaxed all at once. He took her hand and lead her to his domain underneath the opera house. Christine experienced his world which was full of darkness but lit with candles. Getting out of the boat, Christine followed his footsteps unsure of it was real or not.
Bringing her to a portrait of herself Christine fainted in his arms. Very alarmed at what it was. A portrait of her in a wedding dress. After waking up the next morning she arose and walked over to him and took off his mask. Wanting to scream in horror, nothing came out. He told her now that she took off his mask she would never be free. While he was still mad at her he decided to take her back to her world.
Once Christine was safely returned back up into her own world and into her dressing room, Madam Giry went in to check on her. Christine needed rest and she left the dressing room to talk to the managers about the new production they were about to put on called Il Muto. Christine was supposed to be given the Countess. Once they read over everything, to get their diva back, the managers decided that it was time for Carlotta to be the Countess. This made the phantom angry. Christine was in the silent role and Meg was a ballerina. During the scene change of the sets the wing man, Joseph Buquet, was hanged by the Phantom himself.
Trouble started to happen around the theatre. Ballerina's flocked to Madam Giry. Christine went to go find Raoul and told him that they would be safe up on the roof. Little did they know that the Phantom was up there as well. Christine and Raoul vowed to one another about their love. While hiding behind a statue the Phantom heard everything. His heart broke, and didn't know what to do with himself. Once Christine and Raoul left the roof they hurried back downstairs to see if everything was back to normal.
New Years Eve came along, and it was a Masquerade. Christine and Raoul had become engaged and it was just a beautiful night. No harm was going to take place, for everyone must have known the Phantom might have disappeared. Everyone was happy dancing and talking with one another. Screams soon could be heard. Christine turned her head at the figure of the new arrival dressed as The Red Death. Being Frightened, Christine decided to move towards him. Raoul disappeared as he went to go get his sword so he could fight him off. Christine and the Phantom were very close at this point. Seeing the ring around her neck and the Phantom vanished
During that night after the phantom vanished. Raoul followed Madam Giry to see if he could get answers from her. Knowing Madam Giry she would have loads of answers. Early one morning, Christine woke up unable to sleep anymore she climbed out of bed and grabbed a large mourning dress. Grabbing blood red roses from a near by table, she went into a carriage and didn't realize it was the Phantom driving the carriage to the graveyard.
After the journey there, Christine began to walk around thinking of things. It was a beautiful morning in the graveyard, snow had fallen on the ground and she wore a large cloak as well. Holding the roses in her hand she made her way towards her fathers gave. Upon the grave it read DAAE. Christine sat at the stairs of her father and talked to him in her mind.
Her thoughts were then disturbed by the Phantoms singing. Looking around, Christine didn't know what say either way she sang back. Wondering who was talking to her. All she could wonder if it was her father or a friend or worse the Phantom. Raoul came up on his horse, and told her that the monster wasn't her father. The Phantom soon appeared from the top of the grave and leaped down the grave and started to fight Raoul. With Christine worried she told them to stop. For she was worried about Raoul's safety and also having her guardian angel dead.
Moments later after with a talk with the managers, Raoul headed down to the chapel to check on Christine. Christine had told him that she was frightened and she didn't want to participate in the show that evening for she was worried something would have happened. Raoul told her that she had to do it. For him and that he would protect her from the Phantom. Knowing how powerful he could be. Christine cried softly as she went into Raoul's arms and hugged him tightly before the performance.
Guards were at every door as the auditorium filled up for the Don Juan performance. Once the show started, everything started to go well, as soon as something happened. Christine stepped out of the wings, and started her piece. Raoul watched from Box Five to make sure everything was running smoothly. That is until the Phantom appeared on stage. No one knew it was him except for Christine and Madam Giry. The Phantom had killed Piangi. He was in the back laying on a bed dead.
Christine and The Phantom did their roles, and he then taunt her with the words Raoul and herself spoke that night up on the roof. Christine was nervous as could be and ripped off his mask. Though she did not run away. A few people screamed in terror and tried to flee. With frustration and confusion the Phantom held on to Christine tightly and cut down the Chandelier making it fall onto the stage and have it burn into flames.
Meanwhile he brought her back down below and forced her into the dress. Coming out of the dressing room Christine wore the beautiful gown. The Phantom gave her her engagement ring in which he took off at the Masquerade. Christine didn't know what to do once she got it on her finger. Looking around, she freaked once she saw Raoul at the gates. Though inside happy. The Phantom moved towards Raoul once he asked if he could see Christine. Letting him through.
Raoul made it through unharmed, but then the Phantom through ropes around his neck, terrorizing Christine who stood on land wanting to help but couldn't move. Christine just stood there in terror watching The Phantom try to kill Raoul in front of her. After the ropes were on him, the Phantom then tightened the rope that was on Raoul's neck. Christine was frightened and walked slowly to the Phantom. Showing him love for the first time, a mob could heard from above the lair.
Christine made her way towards Raoul untying the ropes, The Phantom began to walk away telling him to take Christine out of here as soon as possible so the mob wouldn't find her. Once they were out, the Phantom sat in the room in which he brought Christine too for the first time. Christine slowly re-entered feeling sorry for him. Slowly taking the ring off her finger, she gave it back to her. Having no idea what to say the Phantom looked up at him with a sad face all he could say was "Christine I love You" and then she ran off to Raoul who was in the boat to take her back up. The Phantom followed her slowly and watched the couple go off into the distance. Christine looked back at him one last time before they turned the corner. After they disappeared the Phantom started to smash the mirrors and disappeared. No one knows where he went. Meg Giry later came into the lair and found the white mask next to the music box. Her eyes scanned the area and she went to go search for the Phantom.

Even though she was now married to the Phantom, Christine still loved to sing. After getting into her formal gown, she walked through the tunnels underneath the Paris Opera and walked up the secret passage way towards the stage. Christine arrived on time for rehearsals for a new show the Opera was about to do. No one was out yet nor was anyone up. Christine began singing softly to herself as she waited for them to appear.
Once they did they did a little bit of everything that needed to be done for the new show. Christine looked around her surroundings. It had been ages since she had last performed. Now that she was married, she was going to be almost everything since the Phantom had begun his work again. Christine sighed deeply as everyone left. It was a short rehearsal. Remaining on the stage she watched everyone leave the stage and she was the only one left.
Silence filled the auditorium now. Only one person remained on stage and she looked around the set was gorgeous and she just remained up there for sometime. It was rather eerie, the silence. Looking up she saw the Chandelier. The new one. The old one had been cut down from her husband all those years ago. Sighing she began singing softly an old french song she sang with her father on the beach of Calis.
